Permits and cancellation Policy
-
Permits:
All bonfires require a permit purchased in advance.
Dates, times, and beach access are not guaranteed until the permit is secured.
The farther you book in advance, the more likely it is you will get the location you prefer
Cancellations & Refunds:
Before permits are purchased: Full refund available.
After permits are purchased:
48 hours before event → refund minus permit fee
Less than 48 hours before event → booking credit minus permit fee (new permit fees apply if rescheduled)
Same-day→ no refund or credit
Note: Permit fees cannot be refunded once purchased.
-
Rain alone does not automatically cancel your bonfire.
If the weather forecast looks uncertain, we can often adjust your start time if available.
Requests to change your bonfire time due to weather must be made before noon on the event day.
Our team is happy to wait out light rain and continue your reservation. You can meet the attendant at beach access or coordinate through our text service.
Rescheduling to another day requires a new $170 permit (plus any additional county fees), and requests must be made at least 1 day before your originally scheduled bonfire.
County-Mandated Cancellations:
If the county cancels due to regulations, burn bans, sea turtle rules, environmental conditions, or emergency orders, you will receive a refund minus the county permit fees.
Rescheduled dates are subject to availability and require a new $157 county permit. No rescheduling fees or markups are added.
-
No glass of any kind is allowed on the beach. Also please refrain from bringing balloons as It is harmful to the environment.
